We participated in the INSECTUM project

This year, we participated in INSECTUM, a project for the recovery of urban by-products and bio-waste through bioconversion using insects to generate innovative products in strategic sectors. Our main objective is to develop new animal feed products by using new insect-based ingredients  and replacing the traditional meat and fish meal with high-quality insect meal.

At Dibaq, we want to improve animal feed by ensuring a greater nutrient content and to research products that have specific capabilities , such as new natural antimicrobials of peptide origin and antiparasitic or antioxidant capacity, and functional improvements (neutraceutical function, probiotic function or improved palatability).
